About Us

Moore Creek Apiaries’ founder Olegario Sanchez learned of his passion for bees as a young child, helping care for bees on his family’s operation. When founding Moore Creek Apiaries in 2016, he aimed to provide expert-quality pollination services with a focus on health and sustainability.

With over 2,500 quality hives and a team of seasoned beekeepers, Moore Creek Apiaries is not just a service provider, but a partner in pollination practices for farms north of Sacramento to Redding. We understand the vital role that bees play in agriculture and our ecosystem, and we prioritize their health in everything we do.

Healthy beekeeping practices are essential for hive health and quality. Our hives have regular inspections, and we provide high-quality nutrition, high-quality queens, disease prevention, and responsible pest management. We are always looking for ways to improve hive health and enhance the productivity of our bees through sustainable practices.

In the community, Moore Creek Apiaries supports local organizations such as the Honeybee Discovery Center by hosting educational events about bees and the rich history of beekeeping and assisting with hands-on learning by supplying bees for educational observation hives.

Moore Creek Apiaries is founded on the guiding principles of quality, customer service, innovation, and sustainability. We focus on providing healthy and high-quality pollination services to the Northern California region. Whether it's rental hives, bees per pound, or packaged bees, we ensure that our services meet and exceed expectations.

"We are committed to promoting and supporting the essential role that bees play in pollination and the overall health of our ecosystem. Our goal is to help ensure a thriving and diverse agricultural community by providing reliable and efficient pollination services tailored to the specific needs of our clients."
